The Industry – Innovation - Inclusion module comprises six key milestones, seamlessly supporting each other in the process of developing a virtual collection with the industry and end-user in mind. 

We divided those milestones into two segments and the module can be practised with only the first segment or both.

The first segment is »Sustainability and Inclusion« where students explored their empathy and understanding of diverse needs in the fashion industry. This segment is solely theoretical. 

The second segment encourages creative engagement and is set of 5 steps. The first step »Industry« focuses on studying the identity of the established industry fashion brand, while the second step »End User« focuses on understanding the User's needs. Step 3 »Body Scanning and Avatars« guides students on exploring scanning possibilities and finding alternative options to body scanners to digitaly register body shapes and sizes. In step 4 »Planning the Collection« they explore their creativity and design a broader collection of garments with the inspirational material they collected through the prior process. Step 5. »Virtual Prototyping« is reserved for the virtual realisation of the collection.
