[…] The Shell Within reimagines the trench coat as a symbolic “shell” that protects and conceals while projecting layers of identity. Drawing from the duality of internal and external selves, the collection explores how we curate and express our identity to the world. Oversized silhouettes and layered patterns symbolize adaptability, contradiction, and the ever-evolving nature of human expression.
The collection is showcased as a VR exhibition, where viewers experience the trench coats transformed into massive sculptural forms. These larger-than-life structures, bringing the concept of a “shell” to an immersive scale. […]
